My son Gradates from boot camp Aug 1st and will be going to A school in great lakes for machinest mate... I can not wait for PIR...

I know all that stuff is confusing. Someone sent me a link to what the job codes are and what they do. I'm glad you got to spend time with your daughter. I can't wait to see my son. Only 17 days.

Sami is a Gas Turbine Engineer(mechanical).She is leaving for Camp Pendleton on sun.We have had her home for 2 weeks It has been great.She will be the mechanic on an LCAC(hover craft)It took me a while to figure all the stuff they talk about. I found a list some wher but i dont remember where!Talk again soon Becky

Hi becky...What does the GSM stand for? My son said he was a conventional machinest mate. Whatever that is. He is suppose to learn how to fix the engines, air, electrical and stuff. Is that what your daughter does? All these terms are new to me.
