Marianne and Yvette, congrats to each of your children for their sporting activities. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone. I'm thankful for those who served so we can enjoy the holidays with our families. I think my middle son and I are going to be at the Tiger ball game Saturday afternoon. Trying to talk the hubby into it.

Just realized that Sunday was the three-year anniversary of the day my sailor arrived at boot camp!  Sometimes it seems like such a short time ago and other times it seems like it was forever ago.  Sigh.

It is funny to read that someone is "traveling" to Hudsonville. It is a couple miles down the street from me. Good luck to your son.

Lorraine congratulations on being a grandma and being an expecting grandma.I usually put something like "Home front news" and the date on each email. He emailed me again and said email as much as you want .....

Severe storms could be coming our way...batten down the hatches!!! For me I better get the clothes off the clothes line.

123'8" was his throw today. He is a sophomore. Thomas is looking forward to states and watching the guy who won Division 4 with a distance of 190'!!! It will be awesome to see.

Tell your son congratulations on his T&F events, Marianne.  Wow, you will be close to me when you go to Hudsonville.  Have a great time cheering him on!

Lorraine - congratulations to Tina and her husband on their blessing of a baby. 

Our youngest son and his track team competed at Regionals today.  Both the men's and the women's team won, so we will be in Gobles for Team Sttates next weekend.  Thomas also was Regional discus champ, so we travel to Hudsonville the 1st of June for state competition! (June 1st is also our daughter Alicia's 26th bday!)
