Hey ladies,
Just a quick note to let you know that I won't be @ Applebee's om Monday. I'm having foot surgery that day. I just found out 3 days ago and have had to get my ducks in a row for work and otherwisr. Sorry I was looking foeward to meeting you. I'll be out of work 8 weeks but will be able to get around before that. Let's try again. Thanks.

Thanks, Holly. I appreciate all the prayers. I have been going through kid withdrawal, but I know it will pass. It's not like they were always around all the time. I'm glad you got to come last week so we could meet. Looking forward to Sept. 26.

Carol, I'm so glad your son arrived safely in China and all is well. He will be in my thoughts and prayers along with all of our amazing sailors!! We have so much to be proud of and thankful for. It was wonderful meeting you, JJ and Julie. I had such a GREAT time!

My son called just a little after 4pm. I was only 1 hour from being in Chicago that day for PIR.

Congrats, Ladies, to your sons.
JJ and Julie, and Holly, we got our son off to his great adventure to China. He emailed all was well yesterday. And today we heard from our sailor. Guess I can say it is a good week. Hope you all are doing well.

I think Jim called late morning after finishing battle stations. He was tired but so excited.

Thanks all. My son is off to preBUDS after bc. I am sooooo excited to see him! What time of day did your young men call to say they were sailors?

Holly, Good luck to your recruit and to you, it is very long wait for that call. PIR is so amazing. What is your sons rate and where will he be going after BC?

Ladies,
My son will be going through battle stations at some point in the next week. From what the boys are saying, I think it will be the 31st. There is no room for a redo before PIR, so please lift him up in prayer. I can't wait to see him!
