How long will he be gone? Is this his first deployment? Where is the USS Comstock out of? I know ,so many questions!! Hope you had a great visit with him!!

My Hull Tech is back on his ship USS Comstock now getting ready for deploy. I will miss him. He's not been so far out of contact for that long before.. Lets hope the ship's email stays working. Hope everyone's holidays went well.

My son made it back just fine. MEPS went well for him. He had a really long day yesterday. We picked him up last night at the recuiters and, we all talked there for awhile. Monday or tuesday we will be able to talk to his recuiter alot more so, more of my many questions will be answered. My son is going to be a Hull Tech. He found out that he can be an advanced Hull Tech. His recutier wasen't sure what the advanced part of his job ment but, he was going to look into to it for us and let us know we we see him next week. If anyone knows what the advanced Ht is please let me know. Thank you. All I know so fare is that after he graduates in June 2009 he will be leaving for boot camp Oct. 7th, 2009. So we have lots of time to help him get ready.

Hi everyone! Hope many of you are getting ready to see your Sailor come home for Christmas!!! I know I can not wait!! Anthony is just about done with A school, may possibly finish before leave. Not sure yet if he is goinf straight into C school or the fleet for a while first. How is everyone doing?? Been awful quite here!

Hi everyone. My son is a HT and a fireman on USS Mobile Bay. He just finished training in Aug and is out in San Diego since Sept. His ship just came into port a few weeks ago.

My son is HTFN on the USS Comstock, ome port is San Diego anyone here "connected" to that vessel?? He's been there since March '08. I don't hear from him often enough. Thanks.
