Ya, I hope they connect too!! I'm sure as time goes by they will all start meeting each other in the class. It will be interesting to see how it progresses.

No, my son doesn't have formal welding experience just some around his dad's farm. He just finished high school in May and went to boot camp in Aug. While in high school he did four years in JROTC, which led to his enlisting. Sounds like Anthony had lots of experience already with the job, I hope Cody likes is as well as your son does. I told Cody to watch for Anthony, hopefully they connect.

Do your kids have any welding experience?? What did they do before Navy?? My son went to a technical high school where he learned welding and worked in the field a bit before Navy--he LOVES welding--he aso was a lifeguard at the YMCA for 4 years during high school!

Hi! My Son SR Swartz is still in BC. DIV 408 SHIP 12 / PER 10/24/08. From what he has written he will stay in GL for his 'A' school. I am new to this, this is an awesome site, I am hopeing to find out lots of info here!

good question--don't know much about it--but I doknow they are a small bunch-I wonder why they don't have them bunk together for school?? What ship is your son in?? Anthony is in Essex. What's your son's name?? or daughter?

Yes, mine is just starting. Does Anthony like it? Is it hard? I wonder why there isn't very many HT around?

Great to have this site!!! My son is in A school, still training---doesn't seem like there are very many HT's around!!! Glad this site is here!!! So are most still in school??
