When does your son graduate from A School? I'm not sure where my son will be stationed yet. He finishes A School next monday then he has another HT training class that last 22 days. So we are just waiting.

HI Moms,
my son seems to have orders settled &
he will be hanging out in San Diego
after a short visit home
I was hoping for VA cause it is closer and cheaper travel
but for now He is to be stationed in San Diego

My son has orders for Norfolk, the HS Truman, just wondering if there were any other HT family members on this site that have sailors on the Truman, thought maybe you could give us a heads up of what to expect.

My son is leaving early tomorrow morning to go to Mechanicsburg with his recruiter and another deeper. On Wednesday my family and I will go there early in the morning to see him swear in and to watch him leave on the bus. How is everyone else doing with their child leaving soon? Best of luck!! Marcy: I know what you mean. My son got to come home for 2 days to go to court then flew back Thursday. They wouldn't let him back in class for a week so now we're not sure when he will graduate from A School, sometime in late December I guess. Oh well its something we have no controll over so just go with the flow.

Son was going to Japan
now is not going to Japan

Staying stateside...for now...

Lorei: He's supposed to graduate Dec 10th, but with this 3day thing I don't know if that will effect his graduation date. He told me last night it's still not officially a done deal if he can even leave Tuesday or not. He has already bought his plane ticket and no refund. He said he may have to loose that money. I'm still hoping he'll get home anyway.

Tennie, hope you can at least enjoy your son's being home even though the circumstances are not ideal. When does your son graduate? My son in a HT and will graduate on 9/28 thought they might know each other.

Hello Everyone! My soon to be hulltech will be comming home for what we hoped was a week to go to court about child support, his soon to be x wants to raise it and have it come out through social services. When all was said and done he gets three days. He fly's home tues after class, court is Wed the fly back Thurs by 9:00 pm. this will prolong his A School. I know he will be worn out when he gets back to Great Lakes on thur night. I just hope everything goes well in court for him.
