Lorei:
I think if Billy had not have had to get married right out of high school and go to work to support a family he would have liked to go other places too. But with having 2 small children now he wants to be somewhere close by and maybe get to see them sometimes. But who knows where he'll be at this point in time. We can only hope its close by. I found order form and called, you can't order over phone so I filled the order form out and sent it back. Thanks again for everyone's help.

Tennie: If you still need a phone number for the video its 847-578-6205, Navy Exchange Photo Lab. Hours 7am - 3:30pm CST. Hope this helps. My son is supposed to get his orders in the next three weeks, I'm real nervous, I'd like him in Norfolk also, as we have a house in Nags Head, about 80 miles from there! But he wants something different. This is going to be my hardest time since he has been in the Navy.

Donna, I'm so glad you will see your son, I am not looking forward to him being deployed! Yet he is excited oh well.

Donna:
My son is in A School in Great Lakes, he just finished boot camp on Aug 7th so I won't see him again until maybe December when he is supposed to complete A School. Then they will decide where he will be stationed I guess. We are hoping Norfolk, but I hate to get my hopes up, if you know what I mean.

My son is Hull tech on USS Bainbridge. They have been on deployment since March but are coming in around the end of September. Can't wait to get ahold of him. These deployments are no fun!

Thanks I'll check when I get home. I hadn't thought about that. We live about 10 miles from Appomattox in a small town called Pamplin.

Teenie: I found an order form for the Video in the package with their pictures. There is a number on the bottom or you can mail in the form, just tell them his PIR date. Let me know if you can't find your form, I might still have the number to call. What part of VA? We lived near Blacksburg for three years, now back home in Michigan.

Hi,
My name is Teenie and I'm a mom of a hull tech and my husband and two grandchildren just returned from bootcamp graduation. We drove up from Virginia and had a great trip. I was really concerned because the kids are just ages 4 and 2 but the did great. I was wondering how to order the video of the graduation, I have seen it on a web site but can't seem to find it now. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. It's really great to finally get to talk to my son more now that he is out of boot camp.

Hello Everyone,
Haven't been on for awhile. I have been busy this past month with the births of two Grandbabies and having my Sailor son home on leave for ten days. It went by way to fast and I hated to say Good bye to him. He is safely back in GL. I have updated pictures on my website and hope to catch up on all the groups and posts soon. LOL, when I have time.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer and keeping cool.
Take care, Karol

Hi Donna, We live in Ohio, which is light years from SanDiego - lol :) but he wanted to see other parts of the world and I have heard it is beautiful out there. I can't blame him because I would have liked & taken the same opportunity at his age if it had been possible. Kyle is 21. We are happy for him and now maybe we can start to plan for a trip out there to see it as well someday. Kyle makes friends pretty easy so maybe he will meet your friend's son Jeff one day.
