My son should be arriving at Kings Bay right now - miss him but glad to know he's following his dreams. Hey its only a 19 hour drive. I can visit whenever - I'll keep telling myself- lol. His first deployment will be MY biggest challenge, not his - lmao. Its always about the Mom right?

Ny son is currently on the Georgia blue this is his first deployment. It's been a tough transition, but for the most part he's doing ok. It seems.

Hi. My son is graduating from Nuke Prototype school tomorrow and will be headed to the USS Georgia. I'd like to get to know people here to have some contact with others who have loved ones on the same sub.

Hey! My husband is already down at King's Bay, he just got assigned to the USS Georgia. I am currently in CT but I will be moving down to join him around November/December. If anyone has any advice about good apartments in the area that are not Navy housing. I would also love to get to know everyone so I know some people when I get there!
