Cory just called....I had to leave work to overnight his birth certificate to him in GL!!! IF he gets it tomorrow and gets his file in order (the original is missing, probably still in Texas!) he'll be home Friday. If he doesn't get it together by Thurday he won't be home until next Wed. Trying to fly out the day before Thanksgiving could be a little tricky...please keep us in your prayers. Thanks!!

Welcome to the "Undes" page. Hope you and your sailor are making it through the challenges of Navy life. Julie reminded me earlier that we are in this together, and I agree....what a blessing to have others to share the good and the not so good with. Take care!

Hello friends: I texted Cory today. Told him I was trying to schedule days off so I needed to know when he would be home and when he had to be in Virginia. He texted back: "HaHa, me too!" So I guess nothing's for sure!!! Julie

Sheila; You are correct, ATT and apprentice training are the same and it has not gone away. However, it has been dramatically reduced in numbers of personnel trained.

Joan,
I understand about not asking too many questions. We've been awaiting Martin's orders since mid-August, so conversations have had to focus on what's happening now(there and here at home), and what's going to happen (here at home only)....had to stay away from speculating about what's going to happen there. He played a lot of football and basketball in his time off duty, which helped him take his mind off of it, and also burn up the pent up energy.

Hope all is well. I am still waiting to hear when Bryan is going back to Great Lakes. I try to not ask to many questions because when he doesn't know anything I think it is frustrating to explain it to me again and again....so much for being a Mom...
