Hi Nancy, our son left CC for Meridian a few weeks ago. Did the training in Pcola and got back from the centrifuge last Fri. His roommates are leaving Meridian and I know he has some new guys moving in. Maybe they will be roomies! All I know is that he lives on a lake, not the party place they had in Corpus on the beach, but worth the downgrade to be flying jets!

James...that is so exciting, for him, and for you! Our son is now leaving Corpus for Meridian, MS and T 45 Goshawk (jet) training. He has just been here on leave, and returned to CC this morning to prepare to move. Will have to go to Lemoore for the centrifuge first, thought. Anyhow, yesterday, we went to an airshow, and he was commenting on many of the aerobatic maeuvers. He really had fun with that stage of training...hope your son does, too.

Just got the word today that DS had his first solo! Now on to tie cutting and acrobatics!

We had such a great time meeting our son in Colorado. He had a great cross-country flight! He should be finishing Primary soon...moving on.

I'm very excited about the River walk. I hear there is going to be a big art thing down there the days I'll be there. I can't wait!

The River Walk is a really nice little area. We were able to get a place right on the river walk for fairly inexpensive.

I'm going back to Corpus Christi next week and we are going to go visit San Antonio. Does anyone know anything fun to do there or places to stay???

Got to see the USS lex today. Very nice. Great place to eat is the Drunken Noodle. DS just got the call to start primary. He was waiting for 8 months after leaving p'cola. FAM-0 tomorrow

The USS Lex. is a lot of fun! Stephan and I spent 5 hours, between two days exploring this ship. I also liked the aquarium, and going to a restaurant called the oyster bar, which is down town. The Beach is always fun to go to. Have a great time!
