lala  congrats  on becoming a grandma!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have a while before tht happens,  my sonis only 21.  has a  gf  but not getting married anytime soon, she has to finish college and he is overseas right now,  let me tell you that was the hardest thing I have ever had to do,  it was worst than him leaving for BC.

lets get together soon......  We all need as much support as we can get.  It helps knowing there is someone close that is going through the same things as you.

Hi timesaversetc. I am in St. Pete too. My son is currently in P'cola for A school and should be graduating in July. His rate is IT.  If you get a group local together I would be interested also.

Does anyone in this group live in the central FL/Gulf Coast area? New Port Richey, Tampa, Clearwater, St Petersburg, Orlando? Would you like to come to a Navy Mom Meet and Greet On Friday May 10 at 7:00pm at Rusty Bellies in Tarpon Springs at the Sponge docks? I would love to meet you all, hang out, and talk about our Sailors. Feel free to bring someone if you like. FLmom - I live in Bradenton & my son is currently in submarine school in Groton, CT.  He will be a Sonar Tech.

I live in Wimauma, which is near Tampa. My son leaves in November to go to boot camp. So I am fairly new to Navy Mom's. He is going to be a RP. Love having Mom's that understand the roller coaster ride of a Navy Mom. Hope to hear from other Florida Mom's.
