Hello Everyone:) I talked to Florence earlier and she is in good spirits! She will get her 1st feeding tonight. She will be staying until Friday morning. I didn't talk to long as she had taken some medicine. I plan to call her back to tell her goodnight!!

She sends her love to all of you!!!

Thanks Cindy, you are the "voice" we need right now to know what's going on. Everyone truly appreciates you doing this for her. Be advised that there have been some problems with the PM's on N4M's site so if anyone doesn't get a message with the address and wants it, let Cindy know. Good to hear she is doing better and glad they are keeping her a few extra days.

Good Morning!! I talked with Florence along time last night!! Even she was hurting..her voice sounded strong and a sense of humor!! Good news, she will be in the hospital until sometime Thursday. This will give her some more time on learning and taking care of her feeding tube. She will also, have home healthcare nurse. I will be talking to her sometime today. Will update all of you!!

Florence, wanted me to express her thanks, for your prayers, as she knows it is the power of prayer working!! I want to express, all of you are very near and dear to her....

I will send all of you her address, through private message. For those of you who would like to send her a card.

I am so pleased to see so many Moms on here. Florence started this site and she needs our prayers. Jan and Cecelia, you are also in our prayers. I am glad to know that other HM Moms are close and will check on Florence for us and keep us posted. Florence when you read this, we love you and all the other Gold Star Moms and we are here for all of you.

Hello! Florence's surgery went well!! She is in her room..she was very sick this morning before surgery and afterwards. Some of her swallowing difficulty is due to her Parkinsons and not being able to keep her medicine down. That medicine doesn't come in a liquid or i.v. solution. They will work with her tomorrow on taking care and using feeding tube. Main thing to start getting proper nourishment!! This is a turn in the right direction and she will improve!!!
