hi everyone, i've been gone awhile. had a really bad time but i am very glad to say that prayers are ansered!!!!!!! as of , october 21, 2009 i have not had one pain anywhere in my body,and for the week before that i was off all meds, couldn't keep them down,i'm back on my meds,and still praying,and my friends are all praying,and still now pain. i still have my breathing problems but that don't hurt,i have o2 for that. praying that all of you have the same miracle that happened to me, maybe mine won't last but it's been almost a month,and i thank god for everyday i can jump out of bed, and walk with out any kind of help, it was the prayers from all of you all of everyone, i will concentrate on all of you even harder now to be pain free, i wish you could see me walk!!!!!!!!it feels so good. i love you all for all your prayers,i'll continue mine for you all. thank you ,bev

hi bev(kyles mom) i need to get some sleep when i do go to bed. it's to painfull to lay down thats why i'm up all night,i do alot better sitting up than laying down.i am so happy that your gonna see your sailor this week - end , i would love to see mine, i would love to just say i'm going to. 3 years is a long time, alot can happen in that amount of time .i don't have the best of luck. what are you going to do this week end. i'd probley fix a big meal and then go have a family picture taken and then go shopping , i also love shopping. i hope my sailor is gonna be state side when this tour is done. at least we have a good shot of being in the same time zone. i always call when its the middle of the night where they are . she's on a ship during the week anyways ,she's only home on week -ends . and i always miss they're week ends . i've heard others mention savella, and i have tramadol for pain, but it don't touch it,i do have percicet for when it gets real bad but i hate taking that,thats really addictive ,i take that as a last resort . gotta go for now, hope you get rid of your strep throat by this week end , and enjoy you sailor, time flys by when your having fun , bev obrien

christmas 2006 sorry that u r having such a hard time. i am taken the savella and tramadol it is working great i am also having hormones implants done i had a hyserctomy about 20 yrs ago and i seen this commercial on tv with all these symptoms that we have with fibro, so i made myself an appt and had abunch of blood work done. i did not have enought estrogen and no testerone at all in my body a day after the implants i felt like i did before i got fibro and i can tell when it is time for more because i start hurting. all my doctors have told me dont just sit around when u r hurting you need to move and it will help the pain, if your doc want listen to u find a doc that will listen to u, u r the only one that knows what your body feels like. the hormones also helped my headaches also i was having them alot sine i did the hormones i think i have had only 1. i sure hope u feel better soon. right now i have strep throat i have to get better soon i am goin to va to see my sailor the end of the week

hi bev(kyles mom) & anita, hi everyone else,as always its 1am,i need to go to bed once in a while,maybe the pain would ease up,cause the meds sure don't work,and my dr. won't change my mrds. ,he just says i need to get more rest. how much rest can one body need.man.i'm tired of rest & pain,nothing helps.it seems like it gets worse every day, and now with daily headaches on top of that,i can't think of anything else that can go wrong ,well if i thought about it i could think of something.we have had some sunshine but its been really cold around here,we're suppose to get snow soon,i don't care,i'm not working ,neither is my hubby,so we can get snowed in,thats cool.wow ,has any one heard of any new meds or treatments that will work for fibro. i went to my ortho dr. to see if he would restart my back shots again,i had them in florida and they helped my back. i could actualy walk in an upright position.but because of my anurisums on my brain he says no,i have to keep taking the pain pills,no shots.i know the shots what ever they were worked,i didn't need anything for back pain,i'm still on lyrica & cymbalta for fibro , and it just does not cut it. there are some days i just do not get out of bed,the pain is to bad to even stand on my feet. i wonder if it gets worse with age? does anybody know that? maybe it goes away with age? i haven't heard anyone say anything about that either . wishfull thinking i guess. i'll keep praying for you all,i hope you all feel better and have some sunshine,bev,i'll send you some of my sunshine ,the sun bothers my eyes anyways . gotta go to bed for awhile,stay cool,bev obrien

hi again everybody, it's only me,bev obrien. i gotta take a break from all those drs. no more tests for a while,right now i'm lucky, no body wants me around, i have the flu, my sister don't even want me around, she works in health care, she's the one who gave it to me to begin with! what a brat she is. i'm in bed for a week and she won't even come and see me.my dr. wanted me to have more tests done, i told him he's nuts, i'm sick. i'm never gonna be good enough to have the tests done that he wants done,there brand new,and you have to go all the way to rochester up to the strong,no way,i am not gonna be a guinne pig for so quak. my fibro has been miserable,thats parr for the course . i just wish the migraines would dissapear for awhile.i hate taking my pain meds for the migraines. there very addictive,i try to sleep them away,but if i'm up running around,it does nothing for me.i'm not having any luck getting my email over to the group.i got a wonderfull email,it makes you proud to have somebody in the navy or any branch of the service for that matter,brenda tried to tell me,i just can't get it,i try all the time..it should be on our web site,it's so perfect. i just am not good with computers,my computer person in 2,000 miles away and she's no help right now.i hope everyone is doing alright. boy does it ever feel good to be on the internet again,i miss it when i'm not on it every day, theres nobody to talk to. except my cats, and right now she's telling me it's bedtime.it is 3am. almost.i'd better go,i'll be back in the am later' good wishes & prayers to all, bev obrien

Hi everyone. Hope you are all doing okay. I just started taking Savella and so far have not noticed a difference. I am just on week 3 of the titration pack so I will give it a while. Hope it kicks in soon!!

here in tn it has done nothing but rain for the last month, i have4 for gotten what the sun looks like. this rain is not good for the fibro. the hormones implants that i am doin r working great. i can tell when they r gone, i feel like crap.

my dr. from cann. just called and he said he couldn't find out why i can't breath , so i have to go to another dr. i'm so sick of drs. yak!!!!! i'll just go to my primary care tomorrow and make it a day,i've seen enough drs. to last a life time. you are such a sweetheat,i don't mean to rag all the time, i just wish the fibro would go away so i could at least just deal with the rest of the junk,you know? all together it gets to be to much.i do have to add that the cooler air seems to make it a touch better, thats a plus, one for mother nature.gotta go for now,will check back soon,bev

christmas2006 i am so sorry for all that u r going thru. i have started the savella and it is helping still bad days but not as often. i am here for u anytime u need to talk. hang in there and i will keep u and your family in my prayers
