New Member here. Have been on N4M about a 1.5 years now - still trying to get the hang of things. My daughter is stationed in Yokosuka, Japan aboard the USS BlueRidge. Graduated from OCS in March. Always looking for new and exciting places to find information and reassurance. Hello All.

A message from Linda to all members of NAVY MOM COOKBOOK on Navy For Moms!

We have about 23 receipes and only 1 week before cutoff. I know that some people are going to get upset when they don't have a receipe in this cookbook. If you haven't added your receipe in the cookbook please go and do this now. This is for our sailors. Molly's adopt a sailor program does awesome things for all of them. If you have added your receipe and you haven't heard anything from me or one of the other ladies checking them then you are good to go. If you are still worried send me a PM and I will double check on it for you. I will send out another reminder before I give everyone else a chance to start adding again. If you have friends on this site that are not members please invite them over.

Hello, my name is Brenda, I just joined your group. I look forward to sharing with you. My son is in P'Cola awaiting A school. I guess I am one many that are a member of many groups as well just looking for answers and friendships. Have a beautiful Sunday, We have clouds. My Son will be here Memorial Day weekend for a couple days. Can't wait to hug him again. Hope all your Sailors are well, as your families.

I think that now there are sooo many Navy parent support forums to choose from that there is little activity on all of them.
There used to be lots of activity on NP and UNF but it seems like everbody has split into so many different directions it's hard for any of the forums to be really active.

I'm a member of so many groups that even if only one was active it would keep me plenty occupied! I was just trying to stir things up a little!! :)
