Thanks to response from North and South Dakota we now have many numerous candles being lit across the entire United States. We also have one mom Burning in Ontario and oGuantanomo Bay the Dominican Republic Guan Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands and three will burn in ITALY at least...This is wonderful was out shopping two marines and one is headed to Pensacola Naval Air Station and the other just came from the Navy base in Norfork Va... they are working with a recruiter here and we invited them to lunch Christmas Day they didn't know if they are going to the Riverwalk or not but they have our number to join us if they wish... So Merry Christmas

Hello moms,, We now have all but two states who have replied to the Blue Candle Lighting...Those are South Dakota and North Dakota...have just gone through your beautiful responses and if you have friends in S. or N. Dakota please ask them to light a Blue Candle and if they are on N4M please ask them to respond and give their state..THANKYOU ALL SO MUCH. Please share with your groups so we can find some Dakota Moms.

Yes those first letters and calls are the most precious...it is almost like hearing your childs first words,,,except this time you cry. Yes the weeks of boot camp are challanging for moms and recruits. Moms because we don't know what is going on till we start getting letters and our recruits because they are totally accountable for their training. Moms stay strong and enjoy your letters,

God bless him and keep him safe while he is out there. Yes, it was the best choice for him to make (I'm partial to the Navy) :). My daughter went in first and she was in the CB's for her enlistment. Don's an ABHAN. He's serving on the Truman. I've been proud of both of them. I feel proud of all our men and women in the Navy---They're the best!!!!!!!!
