I was wondering how long you and your husband dated before getting married and how long you have been married.  And if you want to add your little love story go ahead!

Haha!!! We dated for 4 months before we decided to get married. told both families...they thought we were pregnant! we were planning a wedding for march (got engaged oct 6), but right after Thanksgiving found out I WAS 4 weeks pregnant! Oh the scandal! We just celebrated our second anniversary. Though there have been times I've wanted to throw him back, I never actually do. He is the love of my life!
My husband and I were together for 3 months before we got married. We have now been married for 6 months! We went to high school together. He was a year older than me and the first time I saw him I had a huge crush on him. My group hung out with his. He had a huge crush on me, but never told me. During my senior year, right before prom he came back to visit, after boot camp. We went ona date nd made out in a bathroom..so typical of high school.,,,i actually cheated on my on and off again bf with him! But my Bf and I got back together so I didnt return any of Jacobs calls. He then moved to Virgina and I didnt hear from him again. 7 years later I saw him on facebook randomly. I friend requested him and he messaged me right away. We messaged all day long for 3 days and then he called me...we talked for 4 hours. 2 weeks later we decide to be Bf and gf. After 6 weeks of our first email, I went to visit im in Virgina. The next month hevisited me, we said 'i love you" then 2 weeks later we got engaged. I flew out the next month and we got married. We dated for 3 months, but only had been togethr for 10 real days..I love him so much!
We meet when I was 16 dated for 8 years and been married for 3 years!!! So, we have been together for 11 years. And every day I love him more!!! What about you??
I've known my husband for practically all my life since he's the brother to my best friend since grade school! We always kind of had that brother/sister relationship. After not seeing him for a long time, one of his sisters suggested we come over to Jason's apartment to "hang out", and she ended up going to take a nap which left Jason and I alone by ourselves. It was history from there...we dated for 3 years before getting married. He asked me to move in though after 4 months, we were engaged at 7 months, and we've now been married for 3 months! :)
My husband and I dated for 10 days before we got engaged, and got married after only 3 months. We were both in A school at the time. I got out about 2 weeks before our oldest child was born, I didn't want to have to leave him with someone else if we were both deployed at the same time. We just celebrated our 10th anniversary in November '09. We have had our share of ups and downs over the years, but we're still here....to the shock of some of our A school friends.
My husband and I met several years ago, we dated for about 3 months before we decided to get an apartment together and lived like a married couple for about a year. His grandfather died, and he was called on by his family to live in the house until they could get it sold, and we was stranded very far away for about 15 months while I lived with my parents. He got out of BC in July, we got married at the end of October.
My husband and i have been dating since June 2003 (over 7 and a half years) when we were both 16 years old. We were long distance for 4 years. We lived about 3 hours away until i moved with my family. After i moved, we lived 10 minutes away from each other and we were inseparable. We never really talked about getting married until this month (January). We just decided to elope and not tell anyone. We are planning on a big wedding next year. I am use to the long distance relationships... it is true, distance makes the heart grow fonder.

It is really comforting to hear from someone who went the same way as I did (as far as eloping). We do want to have a big ceremony to include our families and loved ones, but knew we wouldn't have time before he left for boot camp. The paperwork was way easier being married before he left, so we just quietly went to the courthouse and told a few close friends. I feel bad because I want my family to be included, but take comfort knowing that the real wedding is yet to come (and also that I'm not the only one to go this route)!

My hubby and I dated for almost 2 years before we got married. We met at a bar in San Diego (I NEVER thought that would be my love story...haha) and from the instant we met, we were inseparable. I became his girlfriend and I had no say in the matter at all :D I honestly had no idea where our relationship was going to go, but I'm glad it went where it did! Hubby actually proposed to me 3 months after we met, and I said yes. But dad didn't give him the go ahead when hubby asked him. So we waited about another year, then hubby proposed to me again and we got "officially" engaged. Got married four months after our "official" engagement. We've now been married for what will be 14 months on Feb. 19th! Our first year of marriage has gone by in a flash, but I'm excited for the rest of our lives as husband and wife :D
My husband and I dated for a little over a year and a half before we decided to get married. We threw a wedding together in 8 weeks (never want to do that again!) and a month and a half later he left for boot camp. We have been married for only 4 and a half months now. He's currently on hold waiting for A school and then on to C school :(
My husband and I dated for 3 years & 1 month before we got married. We met in high school. I love him with all my heart--he is my best friend; I trust him with everything I have, I'd do anything for him, and no matter what we're doing we always have a great time. He's the most caring and trustworthy person I ever met. I'm so happy that we're going to be together forever. This navy career is going to be quite the adventure and it's going to be hard, but he's worth every bit of pain or lonliness that I'll have to endure. I LOVE YOU NIC!
