My opinion is that we need to keep it private. If it passes in August then the tricare we have won't add the baby that is due in Sept. That is because they would try to phase out private insurance. According to Obama's plan any new member to your family would be on the National Healthcare and not your private insurance.

Also, there are other issues they are trying to pass along with this bill. You can look them up. I'm not sure where to find them but I'm sure if you google National Insurance coverage you might find something.

I do have a link to a petition to stop the National Insurance bill. If you would like it I can post it. Just let me know

I am employed with a large Home Health Care agency. Right now I am involved in a grassroots effort to stop this bill from passing. We have been circulating petitions everywhere that we can. If this bill passes, the billions of dollars in cuts could possibly put our company out of business or at the very least cost a large percentage of our employees their only means of support. Something needs to be done to curb spiraling costs but I don't think another insurance plan is the answer. People need to have the ability to get basic medical care, like routine visits and vaccinations without having to rely on insurance. I would need help to pay for serious surgery or long hospital stay, but why does an office visit have to bankrupt a person. I have seen the day when I had to decide whether to buy groceries or take my child to the doctor...and that is with insurance. This is just a mess.

I agree with you 100% and on top of that illegals get medicaid no matter what they make or don't make.
