Hey all! Wow, you guys have been busy. It has taken me a hour just to catch up from yesterday! I've seen the whole spectrum of emotions from you guys posts. You ladies(and guy) are the BEST! God bless you all! For those who are sad, we have to do what I told my son to do, "Take it one day at a time." For those who have had news, "WOO HOO", we will all have our days to shout for joy over a call or letter. For those in between, hang in there cause you'll have both!! We are here for each other and that is really AWESOME! Love you guys!!!

Good Afternoon Moms
I understand Dawn 100% Last night I was bored and decided to go to mall to start my Christmas shopping and as I walked in, there was a huge beautifully decorated tree and the carolers around it singing Silent Night I broke down in the mall , it was a terrible sight. As I think about it this morning it was probably that one real cry we all have or will have lol because up to now it has only been a few tears here and there. I think it could have been the form letter, which I received yesterday as well. I am sure we are all perfectly normal lol not to discredit any other family members, but just think about it; we lived with them for nine months while the rest of the world waited for their arrival, there has to be a special bond there , so there we go ladies that's our excuse for all this erratic behavior :) The next few weeks will be hard but I just keep saying these holidays have to past in order to go to PIR which is what gets me through the days. It great having you guys to talk to because like many of you my family don't understand how I feel.

Cindy - lessons on STALKING??? Seriously, you need more help than I had aniticipated (lol). Cindy - you are one wonderful human being! Ladies on this site you have no idea how lucky you are that she is here to help from her experience as she started her own PIR group back in the days (wow back in the days).

I just spoke to Dawn, she is at Hallmark looking at cards and crying. She advises that we stay away from this store. Unless of course you want/need a good cry.

Hi Donna, I am SO excited for Wednesday! Okay, get through the weekend (cleaning) and then I'll just have to get through Mon and Tuesday with my students and then Wednesday morning- wash Jared's bed linens. I want them to be super fresh smelling for him so I'll do it the same day he'll arrive. At Nuke school, I sent him a comforter for his bed and some clothes and his jacket and he told my husband on the phone "My comforter smells SO good. It smells like home!" How funny is that? They do appreciate the reminders of home. So, then I sent him in an envelope - Snuggle dryer sheets- so he could make all his clothes smell like home. He said that even his roommate smelled the comforter and when guys would walk into his room, they would comment on how it smelled great like someone was doing laundry.
Then, he said he would open up his drawer and show them the baggy of dryer sheets and THEY would even smell it. So- if your laundry smells fresh in a way that your son/daughter would recognize the smell of their clothes after you'd wash them- you could place one dryer sheet inside a card to BC. If i would have known how much that smell would have been appreciated by him- I would have done it back then. I know you are probably thinking I'm crazy. Okay- I'm going to an Art Show now, but I'll check back on here with you later. Enjoy your Saturday- don't be sad- get out there and do something "for you!" : )

Hello to all you great Nov. Moms! Wow- what a beautiful day here in Florida. It is breezy and I'm sitting in my tiki hut on the computer. Love days like this.
My son will be coming home from Nuke school this Wednesday night!!!! : )
Those of you that recognize me from posting might remember that he was grad n go back in June, so I haven't seen him since that short two hours with him at PIR. I can't wait to see him. I'll be back on here later in case anyone has a ? that I can try to answer for you. Have a great Saturday!

I thought purple pig said they were doing away with grad&go. It seems like quite a few members have recruits grad&go. NOT FAIR!
