Navy For Moms

I hate to be the one tossing out adverts, but I know that some of your sons are going to be graduating from power school this coming weekend, and moving out into town. Since I'm PCS'ing soon, I'm trying to sell off all my furniture to make my move easier. If any of your sailors are looking to buy furniture, I have a complete living room set (sofa, love seat, ottoman, over sized chair, coffee table, end tables) and a very comfortable pillow top queen size bed with frame that I'm trying to sell.

I'd be willing to cut a generous deal for any other sailors who are interested.

That's great of you to offer Chris. Unfortunately my Nuke doesn't move to off-base housing till January.... I was curious if everyone bought furniture or if it would just be easier to rent it for the six months or so....

My personal feeling is that renting furniture is a huge rip off. And its expensive. Most people either bought furniture, or they rented furnished apartments. The furnished apartments tend to be cheaper than renting furniture.

Yes renting furniture is a rip off. My husband use to work for Rent A Center before joining the Navy and if you didn't pay the item(s) off before the 90 days they increased the price of the item(s) by an outrageous amount.

Chris - can you send me a personal message with your phone number so that if my son is in need of anything I can get hold of you while we are there with our truck? Thanks!

Chris,
Could you please send me a private message with a phone number? I will forward that to my Sailor. Thanks!
