My son is on the enterprise too. He is looking forward to moving to the permanent ships. He said he has been puta hold-very vauge -like a month or 2. Does this affect their time off for christmas?

From what my son has said, class does start the 22nd through March.

I hope you had a wonderful day yesterday. The impression I get it that they will start Thanksgiving Week. My Sailor is so excited about the next step. She was ready to play yesterday...said she had 9 hours sleep and was ready to roll! She curled up in her blanket from home and her stuffed lion for a while...
Next chapter...here we come...hope they don't have too long a hold...she is so ready!

Good Luck with the Battle Stations! Will you be flying on Thursday to go to PIR? The good thing about us driving last Thursday was it kept my mind off of getting the phone call, and they let them call right away.

Just pray I survive the weekend. My daughter has Battle Stations tonight till Thursday morning and then has PIR the next day. Poor baby...she will be WIPED out...I can see the weekend spent with her sleeping...at least she will be sleeping CLOSE by!

Sounds right I guess with the holdidays and all. Really glad she has started. I heard they shortend the class so maybe faster...I don't really know but her
instructor should be able to give an idea about how long...

Daughter started school today, keeping busy with notes and MOD 1. She's glad to be moving along. Thinking she might be done at the beginning of Feb? Is that about right? 9 weeks now, correct?

No dates. He moved over to the A school barracks last week of October. He said he would probably know when class starts the day before. Not much advance notice. He didn't do anything but pack up his sea bag and go to the other barracks. He is at the Decatur and he loves it there. p.s. I'm also a nurse.
