My schnauzer has a terrible disposition, but like I said, Kelly, it might be the dachsund half of her, The cocker's great, the best dog ever. But with that Schnauzer, I'd like to get a bumper sticker that reads "I hate my dog." A Schnauzer/poodle mix sounds more hopeful, though. My 11-year-old cat has been resisting the kittens, but they're cuddled up with her now, so I think she's given in. Just as long as they don't try to nurse her, I think, she's good.

The pups are so cute. I wish I could get mine to sit still long enough to take a few pictures.

that's the pup you are having all the trouble with?? right?? well, so far jack isn't aggressive at all. i don't know, but some dogs just aren't into the cuddling. my peaches growls sometimes too at the cats or stiffens up but she's never in all our 12+ years every physically harmed one of them. sometimes that's just their "stay away" behavior. so far jack is great.

Kelly, Awwwww. He's cute. Please keep me updated as to his disposition. I adopted a Schnauzer/dachsund mix a couple of years ago and she's very aggressive. i have two kittens from my daughter and the male wants to cuddle with her and Izzie growls when he does that. I'm wondering if it's the dachsund in her that makes her so mean?

My dad goes by Buddy and my exs name is Jack. So Buddy Jack would fit right in here!

well, they said his name was buddy jack and buddy didn't seem to fit and he seemed to like the jack. jack was my grandpa's name(moms dad) and he loved dogs, had an adorable chiuahua named tico when i was a kid. I told my boys that if he didn't make a fit with the two pups my mom has then i would take him home. he's that sweet!!
