Pictures say 1000 words--

Two welcome homes at the local airport; A special Honor Flight welcome home; Escorting a young man home from the airport with motorcycles and "cages" (cars). You don't need a motorcycle, just a sense of patriotism and respect for those who serve our country.

Hey Ruth, is your sailor at Great Lakes? I guess I haven't checked in here since my sailor moved to GL for FC school. He hasn't been able to go to any missions since moving there, they have kept him hoppin' since his arrival.

My son did a mission this afternoon in Grayslake, IL, for a Marine. He got permission to go from his command.

Hi Kim, I am sure that there is a group in Idaho. If you have not already done so, go to patriotguard.org, join then go to the all forums link and go to the Idaho group site. There should be a contact link for the state captain, send he/she your email address to be contacted when missions are scheduled. (This is how we do it in Tennessee). Thanks for your interest and future participation, I am sure that your fellow PGR members will be glad to have your help. Good Luck and best wishes to your sailor.

Hi All. I am in Idaho and would like to know if there is a group here. I ride in a "cage" as I am deathly afraid of the Motorcycle, but know that this is a worthy cause.

Let all never forget all those Sailors who freely gave their lives defending all of us. The Arizona is just one example of this type of dedication and bravery. To all Sailors in all of the wars fought on every ocean, on land and in the air, we Thank You. We will remember you forever more and Honor your Sacrifice. To our young who now take their place riding the waves searching for those who would do us harm, all families, former Sailor’s and friends, we are with you in support and spirit. Those Sailors from the past are there with you too. They are Angels by your side to protect and give you strength. Draw from that strength.

Jean, where did this come from? What state protested? The PGR is to be a silent shield between family and whoever protests. "They" have appeared in our area maybe twice, but I never witnessed it. "They" have treatened to come many times, but our PGR has the potential of being a huge presence. Recently for a funeral, we had members from four states show up. "They" don't want to face that even though no one speaks.
