Yes a reunion!  #2 is leaving either July or Sept, it's not in stone yet.  He is going in as an HM (Corpsman).  I am in denial all over again!

Thankyou donna i am patient ily waiting for him to come home before he goes out west.he is visiting family in florida(his uncle took him sailing yesterday) i am hoping he gers home while his brother and sister are still on break.nancy congrats to you and your sailor son as well!what divisions were your sons in at bootcamp mine was division 11 ship 141he was on back row popeye glasses.

We are still here:)  My kiddo is stationed at LeMoore, CA - he is an AD, he builds and rebuilds jet engines.  He may get deployed within the next 6 months.  We are waiting to hear!  #2 Son is leaving for bootcamp in a few months.

Congrats Nancy! Mine is on tail end of deployment to Japan. Counting the weeks until he is back in the states!!

I'm still here - my son is stationed with the Wallbangers 117 out of Point Mugu, CA and is currently in San Diego boarding the Nimitz for his first deployment!!! So proud of him!!!

Yvette, you must be very proud!! My son only did A school in FL and then left at the end of Dec for Japan. It is hard having limited contact but 2 more months!! Already planning a summer trip to visit him. I can't wait! So many things changed in this past year! Still holding on during this crazy ride. I know your son is anxious since he has finished school. Hugs to you!!

Pennsylvaniaa but haven't found a group yet.i am on michigan moms and submoms they are pretty cool. japan wow are you going to be able to visit
