Mary- so glad you had a good visit with Dan. I know he is looking forward to this July 4th! Nice way to celebrate, by graduating.

Terri- So sorry Jason's orders are delayed. Hopefully they straighten it out and he is off to Spain soon.

Chris had his first duty weekend in the Bronx, NY and was told about some options that he is thinking about. Not sure I understand it all yet, but he could end up going to Annapolis to do some training on small boats. Sounds like training for getting those pirates but I am not sure I understood it all. He will find out more soon I guess. He will also be going to PA in July for more training. He seems happy. Being in the Reserves has its own issues, trying to be part civilian and part Navy.
He starts summer classes at the college in two weeks and is also working just about full time, so he is busy, but then Navy part seems to be what gets him the most pumped up.

Mary and Sue, Glad everyone had great visits and keep enjoying them. Jason is still on hold at GL and waiting to see if he will get leave before the 15th so he can come home. Doesn' t look like it. Also, they aren't sure now if his orders for Spain will even happen. Any one kjnow anything abou thow long this takes and why it takes so long for over seas to get their orders and tickets?

Had a great visit with Dan! He had some mandatory study time on Sun. But that was ok. Got alot of visiting in and some siteseeing down in Charleston. It was SOOO good to actually see him and get a hug. He's dooing well and enjoying life down there. He'll graduate around 7/4. And then back down there for another 6 months. Always good to hear from all of you!

Sue-Glad you had a good time. Enjoy having Scott home. When you plan that road trip, don't forget to plan a stop in NJ to see me!

Scott is officially a Corpsman. Graduation was fabulous. So glad I went to it. Now I get him home for 10 days and then off to VA for Surgical Tech C-School. He said a few of his bootcamp buddies are going to be in VA so that will be nice. He has a couple of friends from A-School also going to Va for C-School. Another chapter in Navy Life. Now I get to plan a summer road trip. Terri, Jason had duty yesterday so I couldn't get a picture of him and Scott. Too bad he didn't have duty around where graduation was. I got a picture of one of Scott's boot camp buddies yesterday because he had duty there. Good luck to everyone and Prayers for our Sailors!

Mary and Sue, Enjoy your time with your sons. Mary I didn't realize you hadn't seen Dan since the PIR. It's no wonder you are excited. Sue, congratulations to Scott on completing his Corps School.

Mary-enjoy your visit this week-end. I am leaving for Great Lakes this afternoon for Scott's graduation tomorrow. He graduates Corps school. Then I get to bring him home with me for 1 week. He will be working at the Recruiters Office for the week but I will have him home at night. Safe travel and enjoy.

Hi everyone! I'm so excited!! Going to see Dan this weekend. Haven't seen him since PIR, You are right Kim, we anticipated 1/2 for 8 weeks which we never thought would get here! Now it's 4 months later!

Good morning.. Just an undate on Jake.. He applied for Deputy Sheriff, and has his Physical Ability test on wednesday.. so this is great news. As far as the Navy he has not recieved any orders yet.. the waiting is what is hard for him.. he wants to get things going..Glad to hear how well everyone is doing..
