Wow has the time flow by! It seems like yesterday all of us were anticipating the PIR on January 2, 2009. Now our sailors are either finishing up their schooling or leaviing for their respected bases. Terri enjoy your time with Jason as it goes by quickly. Hans left for Japan on April1 and his ship left on the fifth. They are still out but we have received some emails from Hans. He is doing well .

Yes you are right make this about Jason. Everything else will work out sooner or later. Things are rough but our boys are doing great! Please take some pics of graduation for me. Scott should have been graduating with these guys so he is still friends with alot. One of the buddies from boot camp is going to VA with Scott. They will be in C School together. Not sure which one-I can't keep up with all the names from both classes. Take care and have fun at graduation. I'll be thinking about you. Tell Jason Congratulations and have fun in Spain!

Yes, is has been a great time sharing all of our worries and stories about our sailors. Jason is suppose to be able to grad and go with us. We will bring him back (I hope) and then he will have to report by the 15th to Spain. He is hoping he can come with us and not have to wait for his airline tickets. If so, then he will have to pay for the difference to fly to Spain from Cincinnati. CRAZY. Anyways, Sue, I am sorry we cannot see each other too. I talk about both of you with my friends and they can't get over that we are all joined together by our sons. Funny though it really does feel like so mcuh has happen to them and it was just a lifetime ago where crying daily (now just everyother day) LOL Well, I will take pictures and be sure to share them with you all as soon as I figure out how to get them on my page. I hope the interview goes well. I know there is not alot of opportunities out there. However, what if I take the wrong choice and then a better one comes along. Ummm I want this to be my last move. And then I am worried because I would be myself until we can sell our house here and with the way things are who knows how long this will take. Just alot to think about and worry over. But, right now its all about JASON. HOORAY!!

Terri good luck with the job interview. That is such good news for Jason. Hope you get some time with him before he leaves. Scott is happy with his orders. He kind of wanted to stay in the states right now. I am glad too. I'll just have to take a road trip to VA this summer. Judy I'll have to take a side trip if I make it to see you also. Terri wish Scott was graduating this week also then we could get together, I'll be there the following week. Can't believe they have gone through boot camp and A School already. Time is going by fast. Take care all!

Terri- Jason must be very happy as I am sure you are too. That is great news. When does he leave? Does he get to come home on leave first? It would be great if you could spend some time with him before he goes. Good luck with the interview. I think you are right about the snow in Syracuse. Probably like IL. You would only be one state away from me then, but still a few hours drive. Try to get a job in NJ so we can get together LOL. Let us know what happens with the job and tell Jason Congrats for me!

I haven't had time to update..however, Jason got his orders for Rota,Spain. Hooray!!
He is so excited. I which we had another meet and greet this upcoming weekend. It was alot of fun meeting all the folks that I share so much with. I also, got a interview scheduled in Syracuse. Anyone from there or can you share any information about there. Except its more snow!!!

Lori- So glad you have Jake home. That is wonderful. We can't think about next week, next month or next year, as you say just enjoy what we have while we have it.
I think it is so nice the way the Sailors all keep in touch with each other that they meet along the way. Just like us Moms. It makes us all feel connected. A real Navy family even though we are all scattered across the country and in some cases the world. So glad that Chris and Jake are staying in touch as we are also!

Terri- I am not sure what you mean by he was pushed back. I am assuming you mean he did not get phased up as he was hoping or that they got pushed down a phase. That has to be frustrating to him. I know that happened to Chris' group once over hair cuts and he was not happy. Hopefully his group pulls it together. I know Chris' last weekend at A school, someone over slept and did not show up for Watch so the whole group was basically grounded their whole last weekend in A school. They were furious since they basically had finished their classes and could finally relax and go out and have a good time. It was also their last time to get out as a group and one person ruined it for everyone!They spent the weekend cleaning instead! BUT they did graduate on time! I am not sure what the counseling thing or EMI is about. If I find anything out I will let you know. Hopefully everything will go better for Jason the next week and a half and he will be graduating on time and be one happy Sailor very soon!

Scott didn't get set back any. He only missed 2 labs and was able to make those up. He will still graduate on May 1st. I think then he will probably leave right away for VA. I can't complain since I have had him home and seen him. Thanks and life will sure be different without Dad but I know he is in a better place and no longer suffering. When Scott had come home the week-end before for a visit Dad saw him in his dress blues so we got pictures. I think Grandpa knew Scott was okay and would do fine with his life in the Navy. Good luck with Jason and I hope he gets his orders soon. The waiting is so hard.

Sue, Congrats on Scott. OMG I am so sorry for your loss. I know it is a difficult time for you and your family. If you want to talk let me know. I have been there and it is not something one should go through alone.
I am glad he got to come home. Did this not set him back further?
Difference between now and bc I guess. I will be sure to tell Jason, he will talk with Scott and make sure he is ok. I am happy for Scoot going to VA I really hope Jason hears something today. He could you pick me up. Will Scott come homw during the time in between? That would be sweet. Are you going GL for grad in May?
