HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL YOU WONDERFUL MOMS!

Hi Moms, the dvd arrived yesterday and my husband waited till I got home to watch it. I got teary eyed all over again, We have such awsome sons and daughters! Tonight we are taking it to Grammas so she can see it on her big screen.My mom is alot tougher than I am..Oh well thats a Mexican Gramma for you. Everyday I pray for God to keep you and yours safe & healthy...Love Yolanda

Yolanda, that is the first thing my son did when we brought him to our hotel after graduation. . . he laid down and took a short nap on the big comfy bed!!

Good morning Moms- Its Yolanda GILs mom from CALIF. Does anyone have a child going to sub school? GIL arrived in GROTON CN for sub shool. Of all things.... they may not allow both Bobby and Elice down at the same time to get their things. Buggers! They are both so considerate of each others feelings (newlyweds, go figure!) they may drive the base nuts with the "you go"....."no, I insist, you go" argument....

The couple are still in separate barracks (I guess that is what they are). But they can join up during the day for meals and errands. They are not sure when they will get a place together. But they love Charleston...they say it is very pretty and will be happy there. I'm glad....can't wait to visit.

Renee, Bobby did the same thing. But thankfully he is slightly smiling in the stern one. Sad thing is (speaking as a mom) I cannot pick him out in the Division photo. I had to e-mail him and ask where he is standing. I'm waiting for the answer. I wonder if that is when they whisked him away to the Fit Program and he missed being a part of it. If he is in there he sure isn't looking himself.....

That is wonderful Jessie. Pensacola had long been the family haunt for summer vacations. Now we will make the trip to Charleston this year...I'm always up for adventure! I just hope my van is up to it, too!!

What fun to watch and hear about our Sailors starting their new lives and careers!!

Jules, What wonderful news. I haven't heard yet from my son. He told me that Wednesday was the day he was supposed to go to Pensacola. Hopefully he will!

I also want to CONGRATULATE OUR NEW SAILORS!!!!! I pray that they all start A School without a wait.

Elda, I just ordered more prints and the PIR DVD. The portrait Bill selected wasn't my favorite pose. He selected the stern look and I liked him smiling. I called the NEX photo lab... They told me to fill out the enclosed reorder sheet, include the proof (which will be returned) and a Money Order. They won't take credit cards. Their phone number is: 847-578-6180 If Amber didn't order any photo's... if you have her division number and name I'm sure they still have the proofs.

Hey ladies! It was so GREAT to meet all of you this past weekend! What a GLORIOUS weekend we all had with our beautiful Sailors!!!!!

JOSH JUST CALLED from the Airport! They are heading to Pensacola!!!! He sounded excellent! Very excited.... and yet so sad that Nick (tracy's son) didn't get to leave with them ;o( His whole division is leaving today (except those not leaving GL and those behind waiting for Dr. appts and such) Told him that I had Lester's address and he said OH MOM we'll ALL Write him and keep him motivated and I will contact all the other guys (that are going to other A Schools)...and I have no doubt we'll ALL WRITE HIM mom!!!!!! YAY!!!! They are just like their mama's!!!!!
