My experience since my son left for RTC has been wonderful!  It is because of this site, and our wonderful FB group pages!  Being in contact with all of the other parents and wives and family and friends has been just the best!  I can't even imagine what it would of been like to go through it alone.  Not so fun!!  Thanks to everyone who gave advice, shared our joys, concerns, and letters!  Hooyah!!

PIR was beyond awesome!!  Just amazing.  So proud we all are!!  As our son prepares to finally leave for A School in Charleston, I hope to keep in contact throughout the whole experience there.  We have a FB group for Nuke A school.  If you are interested, let me know so you can join us on the next leg of our journey as Navy Families ; )  Good Luck to all of our new sailors!!  So proud of all of them!

Our time at PIR was the smoothest trip!  Even with all the divisions and their families.  Thank you to everyone who contributed information to this site!  On to the rest of the journey......

Oh, I almost forgot.  Sarge asked my youngest son to come up on the stage and hold the American flag while we said the Pledge of Allegiance!  I was so proud of him!

Navyformom's veterans--you ladies were awesome!  My son's recruiter told me about this website a week before he shipped off to GL.  You folks run a great website with so much helpful info.  I really appreciate everything you did to help us be more calm and aware of what Navy bootcamp would be like, and what to expect when graduation arrived.  My son is now in Pensacola awaiting A school to start.  Thank you!
