Oh My Goodness...how long must a girl wait for that damn page to change and say "pring parking passes"? It's Monday....THE print pass day!! It should have chnaged after midnight! lolol Guess I have to wait for business hours...and not eastern time! Damn, I'm running out of patience! ;)~~~

Hey Shell, that was my son's original PIR date also. He has also been at BC since August 26, It has sure been a loooooong time for them.

Wow...August seems like so very long ago. You have got to be chomping at the bit to see your girl again. I'm glad that she has healed up and will be able to graduate. The good part of the whole thing is that you will get extra time with her!

I am so sorry to hear about your father. I hope that Paul realizes that Grampa will be looking down on him from heaven and will be just as proud as he would've been here on earth. My prayers are with you and your family.

Hey all my daughter graduates on 11/25/2009 she is ship 7 div 012. she was suppose to graduate on October 30th but ended up getting 2 stress fractures but she healed up and now is getting ready to graduate. I cannot wait to see her she left August 26th for boot camp. then she leaves on dec2nd for her A school

renee, very sorry to hear about your fathers passing!just know he is at peace now and i hope the words you need will come to you as you tell your son paul!

Renee, I'm so sorry. What a bittersweet time for you. My prayers for you and your family. What a very special graduation for you, and your dad must.ve been so proud of your Paul. I hope you are able to have the memorial service after graduation..June is right, the Red Cross can help get days for Paul to attend. I wish we were all there with you..but we are here:)

Oh Renee' I'm so sorry. It's been 11 yrs and I can still remember the deep pain of losing my dad. I also think you are doing the right thing by waiting to tell Paul, there's nothing he can do about it now anyway, so this way he can focus on getting through. If the funeral is held after Graduation, maybe the Red Cross can help Paul get a couple days to attend the funeral. Worth a try anyway, especially if there is a lag between BC and A School.
