I was told by my son to make our flight reservations for any time after 4:00 in the afternoon. He said they were told that would give them enough time to get to the airport!

Hey, glad to see other people from 046. We are flying the 23rd leaving the 24th. We should wear something so we'll know that we are 046 at PIR. Any suggestions? I told Nik I would wave something pink to get his attention. I understand trying to find your sailor is near impossible. Especially after PIR. I'm trying to think of something for this group to recognize each other.

My son is also in div 046! I am so excited to see my son on Christmas Eve!!! He just wrote me the most beautiful and touching letter - as I sit here and type this, I am fighting back the tears again!! Wow has he changed in such a short period of time! I am so proud of him!!!! I hope to see all of you at PIR! I think we are staying in Chicago as my son will be driving back home with his dad and my husband and I are just going to spend Christmas in Chicago and then flying home early on the 26th to spend some time with him. This will give him Christmas day to spend with his dad, little brother and sister and his fiance so then I get quality time with him the next day!!!

Hi All! This is Sharon and I'm a Tampa Bay Navy Mom! My son is also in Div. 046! And I wouldn't miss PIR for anything! I'm flying in on the 23rd and we're flying home together on the 24th! I somehow managed to get a flight out of O'Hare at 7:30 so we'll be home by 11:30 (weather permitting!) I am so thrilled to have him home for the holidays! I was told to get there early on the day of PIR and to bring cash because each of the divisions make their own shirts and you can purchase them but if you're late they usually sell out!

For the Moms that won't be able to make it PIR - I promise to take many pictures and will post for all to share! Seems like I also heard that you have an option of purchasing a video of it (?) Go Navy!

I will be leaving Jersey on Tues. Then Flying home on Wed. nite. Nothing ,I repeat nothing will keep me from going

Well did you see Div.46? We sat right in front of Nik. PIR was wonderful.Our sailor is home .Wahoooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you saw 2 women waving pink hankies at PIR, it was us. It was great. We got home without any delays ,it was great.
