I may take you up on that. After the surgery he may need one for a long while. The dr said yesterday that any hit to the head would cause the swelling and bledding to start again that is why he is going to be listed as "landlocked"

Ty Rebecca, he is in NH. believe it or not he is working in the kitchen on his boat. but light duty. He was working in the engine room when somehow his head hit into the engine. No one is real sure what happen as it was just him and one other guy and Josh doesn't remember anything.

Word seems to have gotten around about my son Joshua. So i will update everyone now. 9/27 he received a severe head injury when working on the USS Dallas. Since than he has had 3 CAT scans and 5 MRI. He had swelling of the brain and fluid on the brain. After seeing 2 specialist he was referened to a 3rd specialist because the one he saw Tue beleives he needs brain surgery. We will not know more until he sees the next one in about 2 weeks. To the ones who have been praying THANK YOU and please keep praying.

Dear friends, I attended a funeral today. One of our Satellite High Grads (2004) Sgt Robert Sanchez, US Army Ranger was killed last week in Afghanistan. He did 3 tours in Iraq and was on his 2nd in Afghanistan. I was part of the Motorcycle Escort with the Patriot Guard and Rolling Thunder. Hundreds of citizens lined miles of road holding flags and saluting as the procession passed. I had to keep wiping tears as I rode the 10 miles from the church to the cemetery. He was a hero, a son, a brother, a grandson, a cousin and a friend to many as there were droves there to honor him and pay respect and gratitude for his unselfish service. I have called my son 3 times today just to tell him how much I love him and to hear the sweet sound of his voice. I am a proud American, and a proud Navy Mother. Let's lift the Sanchez family in prayer tonite and in the days to come and ask God to give them comfort and peace. Blessings to you all. Love, Rebecca

Rebecca and Theresa -

Those were the best moments and most proud moments to see all of those individuals come through that entrance. Each time I think of it - I just grin and shed a tear or two.

I wish all the soldiers and their families the best - each and every one are in my thoughts and prayers.
