Rebecca, i know how you feel. it is so different i understand what you are feeling. When Josh came home on leave between school and his perm base it was like he was a differnt person. no longer my "little" boy . But don't worry i'm sure he will still call for his mommy.

wow......must be a busy summer for everyone! I hope you all are doing great. My Bells Palsy is improving a good bit now, thank God. My son is home until Friday 8/28 then off to San Diego for C School. Then to Whidby Island for 3 years. Can't wait to visit him there. And YES, I will be renting a Harley when I arrive!!

Hi everyone, I hope everyone is doing well.

I know I've been rare. My oldest daughter is getting ready to go to college in Ohio on the 25th and the flood gates are beginning to open yet again.

Mike is doing well. He just got back from a eight week deployment.

Rebecca, that is just fantastic for Will. We have a great group of Washington moms here that if needed can make sure he is always taken care of. There is even a subgroup of Whidbey moms too. Check them out and get a feel for what is in store for Will.

Hi Girls!!!!! Congrats Jamie..sounds like Coty is quite the sailor. Will just got orders yesterday. He is going to San Diego for C School then to Whidbey Island (sp) He is excited! He still doesn't know exactly when he will be leaving P-cola yet. He will come home for 2 weeks before SD. I can't wait to see him. I haven't seen him since PIR. I think of you all too and hope that life is treating you well. I still have the dang Bells Palsy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is improving, but it is now 11 weeks as of Saturday. GRRRRRRRRR! I was hoping to be all better by the time Will got home. oh well.

I just got a call from Ian today. He finally classed up. Been on hold in GL for the past six months waiting for A school. 13 weeks of A, then the second half of ATT, then wait for C school orders and his ship assignment. At least he will be able to be the E-4 before he hits the ship. He is doing really well and has the Navy career going strong.
Jamie, Bravo Zulu to Coty. That must make you beam with pride.

I was thinking about all of you the other day. Someone at work was complaining about the heat. Remember how cold we all were when we were in GL? It seems so long ago. Don't know exactly where Ryan is but he e-mailed today and said they were going to be able to take turns getting off the ship to go cliff diving and sand boarding. They've been working really long hours and are glad for this little break. It's amazing all the opportunities and all the things our children are experiencing. They've come along way since we left them at MEPS back in October. Hope all of you are doing well and that your children are enjoying life.
