Hunt1125, I'm driving in from PA.

I have a question to the parents/wives around who have done this before. I'm planning on arriving at the hall at 7, and I don't do 'waiting' well -- will they let me bring something like a small knitting project into the hall in my purse? (I'm thinking a sock because I can entertain everyone around me who is also waiting as I struggle with tiny needles.)

Hi everyone. I am not a Navy mom but my finace is in this Divison. Is anyone else driving out to graduation?

Thanks Meadow1 you are right, it's not too late to get ribbons but it is getting close. For those that pay with PayPal I can ship them by the next day and sometimes the same day depending on what time you place the order and pay.

Gwynhwfar-I am glad your ribbons arrived and you love them. I know you are going to have a great time at PIR. I drove when I went to PIR as well. It was supposed to be a 12 hr drive but turned into 16 with stops, road construction, and traffic delays. But still well worth the trip.

We were hoping for more time too, but we will take whatever we get. He had no idea what they are going to do for those 10 days... I have heard it's cheaper for the Navy to move them to A school than to keep them at BC. Don't know if there's any truth to that.

I got my ribbons from Lala Ribbon Queen PIR Ribbons and they are absolutely gorgeous. :)

 

If I can make it through the first few days of PSSA tests, then it'll be travel time for me. Am I the only one insane enough to drive or are others driving? I priced it out and gasoline both ways is equal to the cost of the plane ticket and I don't have to rent a car this way.

A school starts april 4th? What do they do for those 10 days or so?
