I miss the letters, but I also love that he will text me out of the blue and it makes my day!

So, what is everyone thinking of this phase of Navy life? Being able to talk as often as you would like with your Sailor? Does anyone miss getting letters as often as when they were in boot camp?

I sent evrything, a big box with lots of things through USPS priority mail 2-3 day with insurance and tracking, cost $54. it was going to cost a little over $100 if I shipped it overnight. Thought I'd save that extra money to but and ship him more things!

How did you ship the phone Amber? I did fedex the other day, sent his laptop and cell phone over night and a couple of dvds that he wanted ground and it came out to $107! But I was glad today when I found out he had gotten the laptop and cell phone.
I also just saw my sailor for the first time in his uniform :) he sent me a picture of his working uniform.

Stephanie, look carefully through the package of pictures for the 5x7's, I didn't think I got them either, but I found them. They are together and you need to cut them.
