Here's a new story for you-My fabulous Matt sent me a text today -he was standing with a young girl with a Hooters t-shirt on and a veil. He said "Mom I got married today" LOL I'm sure he was looking for a rise out of me! I sent him a text back and asked when I could meet her!!!!
These sailors of ours are way to adventurous!!! He does like Goose Creek, SC and school is going well. Hope everyone has a great week! Brenda/Mattsmom

Jake is having a good time in Pensacola. Still doesn't know when his A school starts. He's completed AWAT and I think he finishes ATT today.

Karen, What a growing experience Joel has had!!!! Please keep in touch and let us know how he is doing. God is going to bless him greatly and great things are going to happen for him. We love you!

Wendyloo-- congrats to your daughter. Tell her to stay warm! My sailor is enjoying the hot P'cola weather but he said it really is too hot when in uniform doing duty! But he loves going to the beach on the weekends!!

Hope everyones sailor is doing well! Its hard to believe how quickly the time is passing now.

Well my daughter finally phased up today! Whoo hooo just in time for the weekend too. She can't wait to get to them all and buy herself a couple of sweaters since it's cold (to her Florida blood) up in GL. Hope everyone's Sailors are doing well.

Karen - It's great that Joel is finally back home. I'm sure this whole experience has been bittersweet. It sounds like he's a smart young man who knows what he wants in life. I am certain that God will bless him. Keep the faith and please keep in touch. Take care.

Hi, Karen. Thanks for the update. It sounds like you are keeping a positive attitude, and that is beneficial to both you and Joel. This must have been a very difficult experience for you and all of your family. But your are right that God has a plan. Although difficult, we cannot second guess that plan. But it sure is hard to figure out at times. My best wishes to Joel and his bride, and to you and your family. I hope you stay in touch periodically. Funny how people who have actually never met can care so much, eh?

Terbeasch: Enjoy your sailor and be careful on your trip. It's about time you got more time with him. Is phase 3 where they can stay off base over night?

Hi all,hope everyone and their Sailors are doing well, Russ should be phase 3 on friday and I'll be leaving for P'cola onthe 24th, Can't wait to see my Saior for more that 4 hours this time.
