I haven't heard from my son either in about 2 weeks. I was hoping to hear something this week also. Tommorow is Wednesday and that's when my letters come from him so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Drew's Dad they are a couple of us that our SR's are going to Goose Creek, SC for the Nuke program that I know of (Greg's mom) she said she heard that they ship out on 8/2 but I read somewhere else on our site that they didn't leave until Tuesday so I am not sure except that they are not grad n go so they should have liberty at least Friday and Saturday.
I did receive a letter last week, but no phone call. Well actually apparently he did try and call but it didn't go through so he called his dad who called me said he was doing good got sharp shooter and like everyone else he is sick said he actually has been sick for almost 3 weeks.
Let's pray they all get better!!!! We don't want any of them to sick to have trouble passing anything.

Brit and Tracy, it was the shortest letter I received so far. He said they had finished their live fire, he said they had a drill assessment and got 4.62 out of 5. He said they got their independent march play and have two test left. And then he said he had to go. I don't know if he mean that he just have two test left for that week or what.

gena- did your husband say what happenend and why they didnt get a phone call?
like tracy (alexs mom) said im on vacation till next tuesday which sucks because i wont know if i go a letter but typically we get letters on thursdays anyway. im dying to know wahts going on. but for now its hard to keep it together

Hi Gena, Larry's wife. I am Alex's mom, and I think you know his GF Brit. Anyway, I didn't get a letter today and not sure about Brit, since she is on vacation and won't be back for a week yet. Did the letter say what the division actually had to do? I don't think they had battlestations yet so I was interested in any info you may have. Tracy

I just checked my mail box and I was so happy to get a letter from my husband. (division 937) Although, I didn't get the phone call that he said I should have received by now I was relieved to read that his division has done well on their most recent assessment and have two more to go. It was a very short but sweet letter. Hopefully you get one today too Brit..

Jonie,I just read your comment from yesterday about putting sailors and their hometowns together. I know that when I talked to andy on sunday he was telling me about his friends and wanted me to find their moms on here, but we can't because they use last names and we can't. So anyway we are from the UP of Michigan (Grand Marais), I think there is only one or two others from the UP. He did say that there is only one guy with red hair in the div, anyone with a sailor with red hair? I will ask Andy in my next letter where his friends are from, He does say that alot of them are staying in GL.

Hi my son Shawn is Ship 13 Div 266 Graduation day July 31st and I started a group for us....Look for Ship 13 DIV 266 in groups...Hope we can all connect soon..Lynn
