Hi Ladies! Forgive me for not being more of a regular. I work 2 jobs and am always on the go. I have a few questions... my son is at submarine school. Any other Mom's out there? Also, I am a dental assistant, does anyone know where i can purchase scrubs that have the navy seal on them? I have searched EVERYWHERE! I went into Boston today, it was Navy week. Pretty much all of the festivities have finished but I did tour the Constitution and another more recent battle ship. The Constitution was impressive. The condtitions they endured are harsh. In all my years living just north of Boston, I have never taken the tour. Anyhow, that's it for me, I hope you all are doing well!

Karen, what class and number is he in? Is he at GL? My son is and had watch this weekend too...how sad that they could not participate in any of the activities for the 4th, but neither can all the other military in Afganistan, etc....guess we need to think a little more along those lines now....

Hi all! Well hope everyone enjoyed their 4th of July celebrations! I got all my shopping done for my cruise next week! Ironed everything, organized, all I'm waiting on are the 2 formal dresses being cleaned and just have to pack the suitcase! Can't believe I'm ready a week early!! Us 4 girls are goin to have a blast! A bunch of 50 year old teenagers! (we've all known each other close to 40 years)!
Boo is doing well..sd classes are going well. He had watch this weekend but didn't mind it. Hope all our guys and gals from 218 are well!! Have a great week!

Hi All!! I just finished watching the "Carrier" series!! It was great! It really gives an insight into what our sailors go through when they are deployed. I cried at the end...LOL. My son, Jack laughed at me. Sometimes it's so hard being the only female around. LOL Take care! Miss you guys!

Alicia... that's too funny! But don't feel bad, I'm sure my kids would tell me before hand too. We're very close :)

Yeah, well my husband has made some jumps too and is excited for Jesse as well...ut he did say "Why would he tell you about it beforehand? At least I waited to tell my mom after the fact!"

Alicia... that's so exciting that Jesse is going Skydiving!! I'm sure it's not so exciting for you though :). I made 4 jumps myself... It was incredible!! I would love to do it again!!
