hello everyone. So how are everyones Sailors doing? Jeramia is on the home stretch for A school soon he will start Power School. He will stay in SC till June. At least that is what he has been telling me. I can't wait for the Holidays so that I can spend time with him. I think he is getting a little homesick but time is really moving fast. Hi everyone . Eric is in Monterey studying hard . He is learning Chinese. We are flying out in 3 weeks for a visit . I can't wait . Hope all is well with everyone

Sheila,
Beau arrived back home last night. He'll check in with the Naval Reserve Center in OKC on Tuesday. We've been told that he shouldn't be deployed until November of next year. At that time he'll be going to Kuwait unless things change. He'll also have to spend a month and a half at a camp in California before he deploys for additional training. We're just so glad to have him home.
I know you are missing Jared. These last several months (and years to come) are going to be filled with lots of lonely moments and uncertainties, but I think we've proven ourselves strong enough to face them. After all, we are Navy Moms!!!!

Hi Bobette, congratulations to Beau! Where is he going now? Jared left today for Norfolk...I'm a little melancholy right now, but this too shall pass. You are so right...our babies are now men!

Hey Moms,
Just wanted to let everyone know that Beau just took his final test in Gulfport and aced it!!! He'll graduate 2nd in his class on Friday which qualifies him for BU4. He said he gets to wear a 'bird' over his stripes on his uniform. Yea, another chapter completed!! Thank you all for your support - you have kept me focused and strong.

Hi Sheila,
Yea Jared!!! Glad to hear that he is doing well. Beau will be graduating from Gulfport on August 8th. Isn't it funny how things change so quickly? It just seems like yesterday that we were all praying and pulling for Jared to pass his running test at boot camp. Our babies have come so far.


These are a couple of recent pics of Beau in Gulfport. He was made the Company Guideon and gets to lead the whole company whenever they march anywhere.
Please keep in touch and let us know Jared's next step in his Navy career.

Hi Friends, wanted to update you on Jared. He graduated MA A school 7/25 in San Antonio, TX and will be stationed in Norfolk, VA. He seems to think he has shore duty...we'll see.

Well Nick leaves tomorrow 6 am. I feel so sad. I guess this is how it's going to be. An emotional rollercoster for the next several years. Not looking forward to it. He did graduate top of his "A" school class which got him a raise in rank and pay. He will be off to Norfolk VA and will be working on the new George H. W. Bush carrier. He will do that for over a year then be deployed on its world tour. That is the plan for now. On to the next phase of Navy life for him and I. Maria

Jeramia is doing fine he loves his independence and he is love the challange school is giving him. 3.4 and 3.6 on the last 2 test he has taken. I can't wait to have the chance to go to Goose Creek. His father sent him so newspaper clippings fo the flooding in WI; they don't have the chance to she much news especially local news. Peace and Prayers for all Sandy
