Kathleen~Jonis' Ma*** Comment by Kathleen~Jonis' Ma*** on July 10, 2009 at 10:51am
Laura; It's so hard on our guys/gals leaving home. Maybe remind him on how after A school that that's when the adventure really begins. If he can just stick it out he will not regret it. Jonis is having so much fun. Now don't get me wrong he still has days where he'd rather be here than there; but all in all he says it's be best decision he could have made. He's been in for 2.5 yrs & has been stationed in Japan most of that time; but he is experienceing things that otherwise he would have only dreamed about. We mamas love your son & totally appreciate the sacrifice he & you are making. You're in our prayers & pls let us know if we can help in any other ways.

Hi all...could I please ask for prayer for my son, Chris, he is in Great Lakes now in A school and really struggling with school, and homesickness. He can home for the July 4th weekend and I think going back was a little harder than he expectled. He sounds depressed and I am worried about him. Thank you all!

Hello to all. I'm not sure if this has already been mentioned on here or not, but I would like to request prayer for the family of Petty Officer 2nd Class Tony Randolph from Henryetta, Oklahoma. He was a 21-year-old hero who so selflessly gave his life in Afghanistan on Monday when his vehicle hit a roadside bomb.

Dear Father in Heaven, I lift up to You the hurting family of this young brave hero of ours. I pray, Lord, you would wrap Your arms around them and comfort them today and in the days and months and years ahead as they face the loss of this very fine young man. Lord, please watch over all our sailors and soldiers in harms way today and we look forward to the day when there will be no more war. In Jesus sweet name I pray, Amen.

Dear Lord please all our sailors where ever they are.
