HI linda, graduation is on a Friday morning....and it really is a small occasion according to my son....they just walk up to you and hand you a certificate...and after everyone gets theirs, its over. I have been hearing that parents do not attend, but that if you really wanted to, he'd have to get permisssion from his CPO.

Talked to my son last night. He said they graduate next week (A school), but parents don't usually get to be there? It is a small ceremony? Not sure if he doesn't want to bother me/ cost/ etc. Have any of you experienced the graduation of A school?
Wish I could be there. With work ect. Not sure...maybe it isn't even on a weekend?
Any ideas?

my uncle said Ashley should really like Japan...he said sailors tend to enjoy learning other cultures....their ways, food,, ect..hope this is true for Ashley

Wow, Dana. I know you must be happy that your daughter graduated and received her orders quickly. Are you doing OK with her orders to Japan?
