Sue,

Enjoy having him so close, it's wonderful. The traveling can be a bit of a pain, but well worth it!

Hi Sue, Congratulations to your sailor on BESS!! I agree,,PIR is amazing. To see them in their uniform for the first time is a feeling you can't describe to anyone, other than "Pride". Will you be able to visit him during his next 7 wks?

Hi everyone, I know that it has been awhile. My son graduated from BC the 17th and is now in Groton for BESS. We went down to see him this weekend-what an incredible luxury that we are so close for the next 7 weeks! PIR was the most incredible experience-I felt like my heart was going to burst with pride!

Joe got Aaron's ear a bit too, lol. He's a former Navy man too. Art and him chatted the their tales up.
Hawaii sounds awesome though. But Cheryl in a hula skirt might be pushing it a tad, lol. Only kidding.

Ooooh Jean sounds like a great idea! I will be going out there hopefully for the Tiger Cruise on the Ronald Reagan when they return from deployment. They keep getting extended so of course I have NO idea when that will be. You are right Cheryl will be there with her hula skirt on!!!!!!

It has been a while due to family health issues, but I wanted to share my good news with you all!

My son is graduating Fire controlman C school today! He is flying in at 11:35 pm tonight. He will be home for 20 days. He has been stationed to Pearl Harbor Naval Station, Hawaii for the next 5 years. He has been assigned to the USS Port Royal. I have a nice picture of this cruiser on my home page. It has been his dream to be station in Hawaii. He is my pride, my strength....

Kelly
