Hi everybody! I'm so glad to learn that I'm not the only one that's becoming obsessive-compulsive about checking their child's NROTC application status! Our son had his application complete by the end of August. His status page changed to the one that lists his personal info., test scores, college choices, etc. on Nov. 4, but since then there's been no change. I read on the Service Academy Forums that the board met again on Tuesday (11/17), so we were really hoping to hear something on this go-round. It's nerve wracking! Our son's first choice is Texas A&M - he's been accepted there for Engineering. He's also applying to USNA. Good luck to everyone!

Welcome TxMom3. I spoke with my son's recruiter and even he doesn't know anything - although he said traditionally the list from the November boards comes out this week or next. But even if you don't get one on that go around, you can still get one later. So I guess we need to practice some zen meditation!

Hi TxMom3! Yay, another Aggie mom!!! Congratulations! It is tough to get into TAMU, so that is great news! My son is at TAMU Galveston this year, in NROTC. He loves it! He is currently not on scholarship, so we are crossing our fingers that he will get something soon. I am jealous of all of you who get to check a website for scholarship notification, but on second thought I don't want to go crazy! Good luck on the NROTC scholarship...hope you hear some good news! Gig 'em Aggies!

Hello everyone. I just learned about the website, so what's the first thing I do? Check it. I found what everyone else seems to be finding... nothing yet.

Sean applied for a Tier 1 scholarship, he wants to be an aerospace engineer/pilot. He has really good SAT scores (700 math!) but his GPA is iffy (3.2) because of some bad academic decisions he made as a junior.

This is scary for us because it really is his only chance to go to college. No scholarship = no college.
