Thanks to the many moms and more that have volunteered their names on the rescue list! It is amazing to know that no matter where our sailors travel in the United States there is a mom there ready to rescue them with a hot meal, place to stay, or help to get back on the road!

My husband flies into OKC this morning...Please try to find out if his mother needs anything and I will have him pick it up and take it to her...They r in my prayers

Update on injured Sailor:
He stable but still critical. Has a little bit of pneumonia but giving antibiotics to help with that. Mom is tired & weary but trying to stay strong for her boy.

Update on the injured Sailor:
He's in surgery now. They are flushing out his insides. Everything has started hitting his momma very hard. Two other navy moms went to see her yesterday & she just sobbed. So sad.

Does anyone have contact info for his parents or other family? The address is listed here, but Jerry wanted phone or email to talk to them. Please message me if anyone has access to that. I know Tulsa isn't OKC, but coverage may overlap, or Jerry might have contacts at stations in OKC, plus you can give blood anywhere. Are there any other details...was he home on leave? Where is he stationed? Etc. Any details I can pass along so Jerry can broadcast any needs.

momof2sailors, I LOVE that youtube video. Thanks also for the news piece. I posted both of them on my facebook wall, and shared with several relatives I have in the area. My mom is active in her church prayer group and will get him on the list.

Update on Sailor in the hospital:
He is still basically the same. They did lower his BP meds last naught & his BP stayed steady so we were excited about that!!! He's expected to be in ICU for at least a month & then in hospital for 2-4 more months.
