Wait in A-School at Pensacola has decreased so much. Sailors are classing up in 4-6 weeks instead of 3-6months. The Base at Pensacoa is very beautiful, so your Sailor has a great place to be on hold. I have added a link to Pensacola's web site. Go check it out. There is alot of contact information there.

Just as I feel like I am learning about what is going on where he is at he finishes and moves somewhere else, and the learning starts all over again. He is PR and he told me that they are down there longer than anyone else, does that sound right. He bought a tracphone so he could call until I can get his blackberry and laptop sent to him. Is there anyone else on here with a son/daughter who is a PR?

Thanks for the info ladies. I told him the same thing jacqueline, You'll Live for another week. It's been this long, what's one more week.
Also, I would like to wish all of you a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. If you have your sailor with you at home I know it is that much more special. This will be my first Thanksgiving without my son. I miss him so.

Glad we could bring this sailor home to his family!! I am so grateful for the Navy family - you have all made this major change in our lives bearable.
