One thing I read about the Gypsy that concerns me: Once you upload a cartridge to the Gypsy, that's it....cartridge is basically erased. Makes me a little concerned, what if I lose the Gypsy or the info from it?

Also, Cricut is coming out with a new device that is supposed to store the memory of all your cartridges on one device and then that plugs into the Cricut. I think it officially comes out in late August or early September. It's called the Cricut Gypsy.

Ladies - spray adhesive is okay for chipboard, but I hate the mess. I use either a wrinkle free glue stick (I think 3m) or a liquid glue like a quick dry adhesive by 3M. I've had nothing but good results with both. I like the liquid for glitter or sand because I can build it up either in layers or by globs (like for sand dunes). Remember, if it goes in your scrapbook, make sure your adhesive is acid free. Night ladies!!!

Ann,
Did you know that you can right click with your mouse of facebook photos and save the file to your computer? Then you can go to WalMart and make an actual photo? They might come out better for you?

Rosemary, do you have to have the original Cricut or Expressions to use the Design Studio or is it a totally separate/new thing?

Hi everyone, I'm new to the group but I've been working on my son's scrap book and he's not very good to send me pictures but I steal the pics he puts on facebook and take pics of them, he doesn't realize I'm doing that. I thought I would surprise him when he comes home this winter on leave. Can't wait to read everyone's ideals!

I just love it. I have both the original Cricut and the Expressions. There's so much more you can do with DS.
