From experience, don't make set plans for him to be in Hawaii until he gets orders in his hand. You never know with the Military

Tanya so far my son said that its a done deal from what his instructor told him. I hope he's right keeping my fingers cross. :)

lol, thanks i was just like :( no ST, lol... hopefully your son will get hawaii glorai! unless he got his orders in hand today too.. bc it can still change but hopefully he gets hawaii! chris friend whose boat is on its wya to hawaii is at our house right now visiting = )

My man is an etcom/radioman(rate/job), and he his rank is seaman...I miss him lots..his sub is the USS chicago 721..

Just received a call from our son to tell us he rank 3rd in a class of 23. Also he was given a list of ports to choose from. He pick HAWAII....... WOOOOOOOHOOOOO. Can't wait to see him and give him a big hug. We are so proud of him.

Tanya sorry about that when I made this group I didn't remember all the ratings. My son always talks about ETs & FTs so I didn't remember that one. STS stand for what again? You are always welcome in this group. Good luck with VA.

Hey everyone--my boyfriend is still in BESS but just got his rate the other day. He is ET/COMM..radio comm. I'm very glad he got the rate he wanted!

YAY! we are featured groups this month!!

I got a call from my sailor boy last night. They are back in port after their test run and there was very few issues with the newly fitted sub!!! YAY! He is about 26 points from his fish and hopes to have them very soon! It was good to hear his voice and know that he is safe and sound.
