DebinMKC, Yes, I mailed off a Thanksgiving card today and plan on sending my husband a Christmas card as well. He has had a birthday since he has been at GL and received a bunch of cards. He told me that he has had to throw away a lot of them because of the small space they have to keep stuff. But I recently sent him a postage paid return envelope to mail home anything he wants to keep that he gets in the mail (thanks to a suggestion on here).

Shayna, My call came in at 4:30 CST. Ashley is in div 33 but her call got delayed a day because she had watch duty. Also heard from her BF that he got a five minute call after mine. Good for her!! I'm sure she is happy now too!

DebinMKC, I had two pages of questions and made me feel so good to get answers to them all. She seemed excited to answer them as well. I told her when she first called to go first and then I had questions. The notes worked out great and now I have all her answers written down to read later. LOVE IT!!

Thanks Janice!! Ashley said that she had lunch with Kyra yesterday as well, so that was nice!!

So glad you got your call trisha!!! im still floating on air from my call yesterday! And we should all get an extra letter NEXT week b/c they get holiday routine for thanksgiving-see there are a few perks for them being there on holidays :P i miss him so much but am so glad that he's happy and content w/the decision! It makes it so much easier = )

My neighbor accross the street left yesterday to drive to madison, wis. How ironic is that. It took her 6 hours to drive acrooss pa. She's gonna drive right past the base. When she gets back tues. I will get all the info about ride. I'll let you know. Have a good night. I'm going to try to sleep. It never seems to work out.. See if you had come to ct we could have had coffee.. LOL!

DebinMKC-I think that we are trying to leave early and beat rush hour. My husband is a morning person and is usually up by 4 am.good luck getting the gf up that early! I'm going to have to check out that weather site. my friend is from chicago and she said that once you get out of N.Y. the roads are usually pretty good even w/ snow and it's pretty much I80 the whole way. I was supposed to go to CT today for my nieces b'day but I don't wanna mis my call. lol

Leecie, we are driving also. husband doesn't want to fly. We are leaving the 28th. from Ct. have you decided what time your leaving. i'm so worried about the roads. On weather channel .com they have this travel site that predicts the weather. i mapped out i-80 and continue to watch.

Janice-My son was in the DEP program for 7 months. He only P.T.'d w/ them occassionally. He mostly ran every day in our complex and we also have a gym here. He might know her though. We are leaving on the 28th and stopping in ohio as well. I didn't make a reservation for our night on the road just want to see how far we get. I am very worried about the weather also but my husband says he'd rather drive in it then fly. we are staying at springhill suites in waukegan.
