Derek is coming home for Christmas too! I'm so excited. I think he is too. Everytime he calls, he talks about it. We are going to try to do some family photos with him in his uniform, while he's here. It will be nice to just sit and talk. We didnt get to do a whole lot of that while we were in Chicago. It was rush, rush, rush around the airport. So to have him home and be able to chill out, and have some good conversation will be awesome.
I'm glad to hear everyone's Sailors are doing good.
I'll check in again soon. I cant believe how quiet it is in here anymore. :(

Hi everyone just checking in also. Hope everyone is doing great? I'm enjoying talking to my son everyday and texting. He's on hold at GL for ET He will also be home for christmas which is great!!! Take care everyone. and have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Wish i was with my son in Chicago :( Maybe i'll win the lottery tonight so i can fly there for thanksgiving . lol :)

hey everyone, how are yo asll doing..i am doiing good. me and michael hav been talking everyday an dhe is still on hold and he finds out soobn when he classes up..which is amazing..and i hope you all have a great thanksgiving and i hope everyone is doing good..talk to you all

Hi Everyone. Haven't been on in a while....just wanted to stop in and say hi and wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. Lisa - my son is in GL on hold for A school as well (AECF/FC school). I think we have quite a few ET's/FC's on hold waiting for school in GL. He will be home for Christmas -- so that will be nice. Hope all is well with everyone and their sailors. Take Care!

Just checking in also. All is well.Pat will be getting orders soon! Started A school and expects to be done before Christmas and travel home, en route to his new assignment. He wants to get Japan but is fine with whatever ship he gets!

Just checking in. Hope everyone and their Sailor's are doing well. My son is still on hold in P'cola for A school too. You know its "hurry up and wait" mode! The longer he sits in P'cola the happier I am, thats how I feel about that!!!!

Aaron is still at GL on A school hold for AECF/FC. He is on the Wisconsin.
