Not sure if you have heard from your sailors in the last day or so. My husband got a call from Jake yesterday 6/18. Someone in the division was diagnosed with TB. Jake's school was delayed because of it and he had to get shots yesterday. Sounds like school will start the 23rd. I hope the sailor who was diagnosed is doing ok along with everyone else from the divison. Hope all is well with everyone. We are frantically recovering from the flooding as I had family members who were hit VERY hard. God Bless all.

I enjoyed meeting Ken and Carol. Sorry that we all didn't get to meet and spend more time. I am so proud of our SAILORS. I couldn't stop looking at them in their uniforms.

Lori - have a safe flight!
forecast changed a bit...mid/upper 80s and rain Thurs and Fri. Low 80s and partly cloudy for Sat and Sun.
has anyone heard whether our division gets an extra day (Monday?) Jake had told his girlfriend there was some talk of them possibly getting an extra day of liberty. Fortunately, we're driving so that is fine for us and we'll be able to stay on for the extra day if they get it.

Umbrella for sure!!! Thanks for the heads up! And, I hope to see all of you at Graduation. I'm sure that we will find each other through our kids (sis). I'm frantically packing for my flight. Hope to talk again soon.

Make sure you read Cherie's comments about the weather. I'd keep your summer blouses out if you haven't left yet. Our 70-80 is very humid right now and yes there is rain in the forecast. I believe strong to severe thunderstorms forecast for Thursday/Friday. Where we are at in IA we usually get the rain a day before Chicago does. Have a safe trip everyone, we are leaving tomorrow am for some fun in the windy city.

Hey everyone, I talked to the recruiter today. Keep your fingers crossed. Apparantly if they win Hall of Fame it becomes a part of their military record. The recruiter says that it is a VERY big deal.
