I talked to my son too, for the first time since 9.17.09 when i said good bye to him a the airport. It was a very bad connection so I couldn't hear him very well, only was able to understand some of what he said, but I knew it was him! He was able to call his girlfriend and dad too! But, apparently he is leaving on Saturday to Groton, CT. I guess his girlfriend knew, but his dad and I didn't. Last we heard was he was staying in Great Lakes for A School. I am still so excited to see him on Friday.

I have heard that it might be possible to hang out with them at the airport on Saturday, does anyone know the details on that?

I just got a phone call from Nate. He said Captains Cup was really fun but they sucked as a division. However the did get another flag.....can't say for what. But he did tell me he will be carrying the division flag.....it is designed with each or the three RDCs being an XMEN characters (bonus that I will be able to figure out which guy with the "upsidedown dog dish" (Nates description) on his head is Nate. On the other side is the USS Arizona underwater with a boney hand reaching out of the water and some statement. He said they will be standing in spot 6 and to get there early and we can see them marching to the grad hall. They were eating fast food and watching TV and making calls. Almost like real life. He said he has so much to tell me.....and this is such the right decision for his life. He will be going to Pcola for a few weeks and then to San Diego..

Tonya and Jordan, they will pass. Hang in there. That is a great thing about them starting battlestations so early in the week, on Sunday, this allows more flexibility. From what I have read they may do battlestations with a different division, but they will still do graduation with their original division. I thought I read somewhere that the only way they would change divisions for graduation is if their graduation date moved to a different day. And at this point with the guys having a week still, they will make it! I will say a prayer.

I will be praying for your sailors as well. They will pass this test. I am so glad to hear everyone is ok in Texas that has family in this group. Will be praying for those at Ft. Hood as well. We had a shooting here in Orlando yesterday as well, don't know yet if any of our Navy Moms were affected by this. Gods Blessings to Everyone. T

Thank you all for the prayers, I'm a little on edge naturally. Mary, I know how you are feeling and I Do sincerely hope that little study group can get it done right this time aournd. PIR would not be the same if we aren't in the same division or day.
