Navy For Moms

I think it would be nice if we were able to send cards, or a letter, to each others kids. I posted a request to send for Katie, but what would be the safest way to do this? Just share by email our addresses? I wouldn't want to post them here.

I just thought it would be neat if kids got encouragement from other moms too. Even though Katie calls now, and texts all the time, she still loves her mail and is getting ready to graduate A school. I myself would get a box of cards reserved for some Tx Moms kids and send 'em out as needed. What do you think?.....Angie

Thanks so much everyone. I would like to be added to a distribution list to get addresses for other Sailors. We had recently sent birthday card to a soldier cousin (I think) of Brenda Sue's who had lost a couple of friends who were serving in Iraq with him. We signed the Cards from Navy Moms, and hopefully it boosted his spirits knowing there were so many of us back out home sending wishes. I loved the idea, and look forward to sending to our sailors !!!! GREAT IDEA !!!!!!

Fabulous idea! My son leaves for GL on his 18th birthday, 11.24.08. So he won't be home for his birthday, Thanksgiving or Christmas this year. I know it would really lift his spirits to know others were thinking of him. My email is krocks08@gmail.com.

Hi Kimberly, today is the 24th and I thought I would send a note wishing you and your sailor well. I am hoping to catch a glimpse of my sailor tomorrow at SD, via web. I am very excited he will be home safe, and do understand the emotions you are now going through. Take care.
